This year I helped organize The First Annual Phools Parade in New Paltz. It was a great, creative ART filled event. For my group we created a Boxhead Brand Ocean complete with fish, a double headed Loch-Ness Monster and a Ship of Phool for Jack to ride in!

After I leave for work in the morning, the men of the house have the run of the place. This is what I normally imagine what takes place. But with Kristopher you have to always make sure that there is coffee ready for him first thing. Oh and our little Nikkou makes an appearance in this piece.

My dear cousin Rosanne Naglieri is getting married to Rob Rodgers in July of 2011. They asked me to do a drawing of the day that he proposed to her in NYC. The day after they spent their time walking around Central Park. That was part of the inspiration of this piece. I was honored to be asked to do this for the both of them. Congrats to the Happy Couple.

This is one of a series of ten paintings. The idea came from our newest parakeet Nikkou. When my father was visiting he said that this bird was as loud as Ten Avis’. Hence the name Deca Avis. In each painting is a Nikkou, several Spacey Robot Boxheads, Blur Orbs and one little heart.
